A complete lab setup was established in mid 2004. The BUNGARD professional prototyping equipment is the most cost and space saving solution. The lab is fully functional and is providing practical support to the curriculum.

This equipment is readily up-gradable to production of Multi-Layer Boards by induction of a few more components.

The film strip at the left is a selection of photographs from this lab. Below are professional quality PCBs fabricated by novices for their curricular projects.

The training and technical backup is handled by professionals who are engaged with the production of PCBs for over 18 years.

We see this just a beginning to a trend. Our young engineers deserve to be technically conversant with the prevailing technologies. Without PCB, what is left in the field of electronics? Pakistan needs fresh blood pumped into its technological mainstream. These young energetic and competent engineers are our only asset to be proud of in future times. Our dream of technological self reliance is solely dependant upon these youths.

It is high time now to gear up ourselves and give this a serious thought.
